Jump around
We've made a few small changes today, which hopefully will make your life easier when getting around a Jiglu space. As usual, your feedback is welcomed in our support space.
Paging
Previously when you were viewing an index, such as the list of tags, the only way to move from one page to the next was by pressing the next page button. You told us this was too hard. Now we've added a little dropdown at the top of the index where you can easily select which page you want. If there's a thousand messages in a space and you want to find the very first one, you now won't wear out your finger before you get there.
What's new
Sometimes it can be difficult to find what new things have arrived in a space since the last time you were there. You told us in particular that on the Discussion by thread index page it wasn't easy to get to the new messages that had arrived since your last visit. We've now made three changes to make it easier:
- Anything new since your last visit will always have its link appear as bold on any index page. For example, if you're looking through the list of members in a space, anyone who's joined since the last time you came to the space will have their name in bold.
- When a page has a time-span search, such as the list of links, then there will be a new option in the dropdown called New. Select it and then hit the search button and the list will be filtered to only show the things that are new since your last visit.
- When you view the Discussion by thread index, any thread that has had new messages added to it since your last visit will now have a New link next to its name. Click the link and you'll only see those new messages from that thread. When you're viewing a thread, you can also choose the New option from the dropdown you'll now find at the top of each thread page.
Note that the what's new feature will only work the second time that you visit a space (so it knows when you last visited) and you will need to have cookies enabled. The New today link that used to be on the Discussion by thread index has now been removed.
Taskbox
In your taskbox, if a particular task is about to be expire and be automatically removed then it will now tell you Expiring soon next to the date that it was created.
