Launch - 12 days and counting
We took the tagging product out of beta for the Techcrunch show into "Preview", a state unrecognised by most of the industry!
We wanted to show a fully featured product at the show (and all the tagging work for this release was done in time for the show), but there is still some tidying up work to be done, and a move to new servers to be completed this weekend.
Steve and I are on our way to the West Coast (again) next week for the press briefings, and to speak to several men about dogs. I am currently obsessing (amongst other things) as to how we reduce the rather ludicrous phone bill I had last time out. I think I have a very complicated solution worked out involving a US SIM card, a UK phone number, and what amounts to a very long piece of tubing. I love the Internet, I really do.
I have been rather overwhelmed by the response to the new product. We're piling on new users, and we haven't even launched the thing yet...
