Marketing, and the fun thereof

Ask a dozen people how to market a service like ours, and everyone will give you a different answer.  They'll tell you to use Adwords, or not.  Perhaps contact all of the major bloggers and beg them to use it.  Or there are are those who will say that's the quickest way to ensure no-one will ever speak to you again.

Yes, everyone's got an idea, and the fact is that a lot of them are very good.  Often, though, you don't have the time or the resources to do them all, and so you have to concentrate on what works for you.

I read a great post the other day on the Duct Tape marketing blog.  The bottom line "...discover what feels authentic to you about your business and get very, very passionate about that."

From personal experience, I can vouch for that 100%
