We're upgrading on Thursday 3 April
At 10am GMT (that's 11am in the UK, 12pm in Central Europe, 6am US Eastern, 3am US Pacific) on Thursday 3 April we'll be upgrading to the latest Jiglu release. This should take no more than 90 minutes, but just in case you should allow three hours for us to be down.
Here's what's new:
- New developer API allowing you to automatically tag any content you like - more on this in the next few days.
- Improved management interface, letting you see what pages have what tags and manually apply tags too.
- Get an RSS or Atom feed of all the pages in your site complete with their automatic tags.
- Choose the colour for inline links on pages using your widget rather than always getting blue and only have them applied once per paragraph.
- Split your space up into separate discussion areas, just like a web forum.
- Close threads when you no longer want people to contribute to them.
- Lots of small improvements and fixes to make spaces easier to work with.
Next week we'll be launching a new series of blog posts, Ten Things You Can Do With Jiglu, followed by Ten Things You Can Only Do In The Jigluhood. Keep reading!
